How product looks, feels and functions is defined by design and engineering.

This is a very wide and inexhaustible area with limitless opportunities for improvement. During the study program you will be provided with necessary knowledge of the basic principles required to design a great looking and functional product. The program discusses the most advanced technologies and techniques used in the world, such as LEAN, AGILE and others.

Product design

Product design describes a process of imagining and creating a new product to be sold by a business to its customers. Design thinking is a method for the practical resolution of problems. When it comes to building great products, the design is the most important “feature.”

Process engineering

Process engineering is the understanding and application of the fundamental principles and laws of nature that allow us to transform raw material and energy into products that are useful to society, at an industrial level. Process engineering involves the utilization of multiple tools and methods.

Good business intuition

It seems like all of life’s biggest decisions are now made on the basis of number-crunching algorithms. Intuition is big data for your body. It’s the result of your body’s own algorithms processing millions of data points that surround you every day.

Risk analysis

A risk assessment is the combined effort of 1. identifying and analyzing potential events that may have negative impact; and 2. making judgments "on the tolerability of the risk on the basis of a risk analysis" while considering influencing factors

Systems engineering

Systems engineering is an interdisciplinary field of engineering and engineering management that focuses on how to design and manage complex systems over their life cycles. It utilizes systems thinking principles to organize this body of knowledge.

Process improvement

Systematic approach to closing of process or system performance gaps through streamlining and cycle time reduction, and identification and elimination of causes of below specifications quality, process variation, and non-value-adding activities.
